WHY:
Aerial straps, sometimes, can seem a little dry...

Straps suffers pervasive myths:

• - You have to be super strong to do anything, or get on straps
• - You have to work out for years before creating a routine
• - Unless you're on one arm spinning high into the air, everyone is laughing at you
• - Straps are painful

If straps are confined to meathooks and flags, then maybe. But this Straps workshop treats straps as a dance apparatus, where the interest takes its form from the personality of the performer. Dancers, acrobats, handstand artists, jugglers, clowns, and contortionists all create stunning straps routines by combining their current skills with basic straps tricks!

The workshop is about making straps an extension of what you already know and an exploration toward something new that only you can come up with.
